Terms of use
HighGround Exchange is operated by Highground AI DAO LLC. These terms cover your use of this website and the inquiries you send through it.
What this site is
HighGround Exchange is a place to explore business services — energy, connectivity, communications and related categories — and to ask for an advisor-assisted comparison. We are not a utility, not an energy supplier, not a telecommunications carrier and not the provider of any service described on this site. Products are offered through provider and marketplace ecosystems, including BOX and AppDirect, and the provider's own terms and tariffs govern the service you may buy.
What happens when you submit an inquiry
Submitting an inquiry places no order, signs no contract, switches no supplier and commits you to nothing. It starts a conversation. Any agreement you later enter into is between you and the provider, on the provider's terms. You are responsible for reviewing those terms, including rate, term length, renewal notice requirements, early termination charges, minimum usage and any pass-through provisions, before you sign.
How we are paid
HighGround may receive compensation from providers on completed purchases. That compensation is paid by the provider and does not increase what you pay. It is disclosed on this page, in the site footer and in the request process because you are entitled to know how the service is funded.
No guarantee of pricing, availability or savings
Available products, providers and terms vary by service address, meter, utility territory, usage and business needs. Some addresses cannot buy competitive supply at all. Rates, programs and incentives are set by providers and utilities, can change without notice, and are not controlled by us. Nothing on this site is a quote, an offer or a promise of a specific price, and savings are not guaranteed. Figures or examples used in our guides are illustrative, unless a source is cited for them.
Information on this site
We aim to be accurate and to cite sources for factual claims, and our editorial approach is described in Sources & methods. Even so, the material here is general information about how these markets work. It is not legal, tax, accounting, engineering or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for reading your own contract, bill or tariff. Verify anything important with the provider or utility before you rely on it.
Referral program
Where a referral offer is published, these terms apply. The referral payment is $500 per referral, paid once the referred business signs an agreement and the account becomes active. One payment is made per business, regardless of how many people referred it. You cannot refer your own business. The first introduction we receive for a given business is the one that counts. A valid business ZIP is required so the address can be checked for serviceability. Referral payments may be reported as income to you and are your responsibility to report. We may change or end the program at any time, and referrals that do not meet these conditions are not eligible.
Limits
The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Highground AI DAO LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or from services purchased from a provider, and our total liability relating to the site is limited to the compensation we received on the transaction in question. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Questions about them, or about anything you submitted through this site, belong with a person rather than a form: call (501) 463-2471, email spencer@highgroundexchange.com, or use the contact page. See also our privacy notice.
